Always loved this song. When I first heard it all those years ago - no lyric sheet with the album - I thought it was "I've come on hard and it hurts like hell" which I still think would be the better line.

i remember missing the lyrics.....one of the last recordings by Mick Taylor....great album IORR

Once Start Me Up started my day ón its release day - at 6.05 a.m. as the first song after the alarm clock and the news. Never got that easy out of my bed in my life.

.....this is indeed a great song....not my favorite song, but great.....I have always loved this song and the IORR album.....I think I saw them do this in Nashville in November 2002.....pretty sure it was the 2nd song.....

i remember seeing them play it in Hartfod during the 2002 tour....was awesome....one song would be interesting to hear is Luxury....do you know if they have ever played this live?

I too had the pleasure of seeing them preform this song. IMO this song never sounded better than on the Licks tour

no, i think all the whining should be done...till the next tour of course...the only way of seeing unique set-lists is when they play the clubs...like hearing worried about you or hand of fate in a small venue is something else...did not get to start my day with a stones song this morning...Q104.3 let me down...have to have a word with them
