Yes, it was had some stock footage form the Voodoo Lounge tour at the end of the show, the storyline revolved around these 'entitled superficial young adults' going to a Rolling Stones concert.

It was the exact moment (American T.V. reference) when the Stones 'jumped the shark.'

the shoot 'em dead, brainbell jangler!

The footage of 'Not fade away' and 'YGMR' actually comes from Giants Stadium (the official release that was sold at the shows)...the YGMR footage was also used for the promo video for the single

In the storyline, the kids were going to a Stones show at the LA Coliseum, I think (although the LA gigs that tour were at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena)

Ludicrously naff move by the Stones, but I suppose that compared to the horror that was the 'Days of our lives' appearance 2 years ago (which I still have mercifully not seen), its about as cool as being in a Scorsese or Tarantino flick.

Couldn't agree more, Gazza. Did see "Days of Our Lives"...didn't like "those" characters being Stones fans. But can't knock the band for promoting ABB any way possible considering the pathetic US sales for most "classic rock" artists.

Mick was once an idealist but the band couldn't have survived without him facing and dealing with reality in the business of music.

1943...that's quite funny! Life outside the playpen was brutal...

Referring to the Andrew Oldham and Allen Klein situations among many other instances. Believe Bill Wyman covered some of this in his first book.

A friend once told me that a few years ago, Lisa Fischer played in a show (can't tell if it's BH or Melrose Place or such a show).
She was shown singing in a club where the action was taking place.

Somebody heard this ?
I never found any additional info.

I rebember this particular episode of 90210.

It was very popular in Portugal back in 1994, result: the Stones in Lisboa 1995 was another sold out gig....

:-)

There also was an appearance by Tom Petty, I think 89/90/91 or so, but I don´t know the name of the show. It was shown in a documentary called Going Home

I really liked the girls on there, especially Tiffani-Amber.
