I have seen Eric every year for about the past 12 years. Last year he put together a new band, a little more reggae influence than his past harder rock bands. He always does a mix of Animal Classics, Blues, and lately, new stuff. He can't move around like he use to, but he sure still has the chops! Well worth going to! But like the stones with midnight rambler or CYHMK, You never know if Eric is going to do Sky Pilot.
his band is not set anymore...players come in and out based on availability. seen him many times over the years - twice this year. eric never fails to disappoint. you might even catch the resurgent Hilton Valentine (original Animal) with him these days...
He is playing in Vancouver B.C. on October 19. I would love to see him but just can't get away from work for this intimate show. He is playing in a lot of very small venues on this tour.

well, truth be known, he hasn't played in any larger venues since the animals reunion tour of '83....

Chas is dead - don't see the rest of them reuniting. And, as for a War reunion - no chance at all...Burdon's burned those bridges. Saw Eric on the same bill with War two years ago -they talked to him about coming out for a Spill the Wine run-thru - he wouldn't have anything to do with it....
well, then when Hilton plays with Eric, they have twice the number of originals...go figure. And, with War, the band that has the name has one original member, whereas the band that tours as "The Low Rider Band" has 5 or 6....
