Yeah, he announced it a couple of weeks ago.

He's #1 on my list of artists I still need to catch live in concert.
I truly hope he'll tour Europe.

Any idea how to score tickets for the concert at Radio City?

Scored a front row seat to see Stevie at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles; the show is next Wednesday. I really lucked out. I stood in line at the box office when tickets went on sale, and although there were perhaps 25-30 people ahead of me, I still got a seat in the front row.

He's playing in Santa Barbara tonight, at the Santa Barbara Bowl. I saw Wilco there on Sunday.

I think I read that Stevie was annoyed when he learned that his name did not appear under the "The Rolling Stones" on the marquee outside a hall in '72 when he opened for the Stones. It could have been Philly but I'm not sure.

I´ve seen the king Stevie live once. He was great. Played for close to 3 hours. What a gig that was.

Re Stevie being "annoyed," must say au contraire

Steve didn't count for so much when Jagger asked him if he would consider being on the Stones tour, and he was thrilled and grateful for the opportunity. His chance to show that "Little Stevie" was growing up and a way to escape the nightclubby songs Motown was throwing at him. They had no faith in him as a soon to become major songwriter or as an adult artist.

Mick was equally excited about putting Stevie on the tour, and in a world of many not so close phoney show biz friendships, their bond is strong.

My wife dragged me to see Stevie several years ago. I was soooooo not into it...but ended up loving it. The guy can put on a show. I would pay to see him again.
