Back after a good Prince show.

He hinted 4 times at the Stones:
1. Singing the first line of Honky Tonk Women
2. Playing the Start Me Up riff (jazzy)
3. playing the intro of Miss You on the guitar 2 times
4. Saying in a blues with Maceo parker on sax: "Maybe the Rolling
Stones let you do what you want - but there are rules in my house!
Rule number 1: Close the toilet lid!""

The people were yelling!

The show itself was good, in the beginning fabulous! But in the end
he upset me a bit by throwing pieces of songs around and ending them
as soon as the crowd went into it. Over after 1h 40 min. A bit short
- like himself!

A great performer anyway! A mixture of James Brown and Jimi Hendrix.

I was there too. I thought it was OK -- Maybe I'm just not as much of a fan as I thought I was. Was it actually 1:40? It seemed much shorter, like 90 minutes, but then I left after the first encore, so maybe I missed something.

I'm not sure if I got that one?^^
did he mean - I shoot water rats and feed them to the geese
or is there no crack smoking allowed?
you need to leave the toilett lid shut to hack away anyhow^^

Prince is ok, OK?

I've never been a major Prince fan and thought the show was OK. He at least played the songs I most wanted to hear. BUT BUT BUT then - I went to the after-show. It was absolutely phenomenal. Streets ahead of the main show and truly unmissable.

I think he was referring to pictures. Stones allow them and he is militant about not allowing them.

The aftershow last night was amazing.

Agree. "I have so many hits, I don't know what to play" tssssss...
He should play songs, not this medley crap. We know he can play almost any instrument, but he should leave the keyboards alone on stage and stick to guitar playing where he's a genius in

and remember a long time ago prince opened for the stones in 1981,only a few gigs either he was unhappy with the situation or the stones were,either way its all water under the bridge now.and for you lucky devils going on sunday let it rock cheers

I think prince is not good nough to say that abou our rockers!

Yeah, that's VERY frustrating. But consider yourself lucky. When I saw him in 1988 the bulk of the set consisted of one gigantic hits medley, where he'd do a minute or so of a song and then move onto the next one.
