It's frickin' official: I'm there for London III. I now have my ticket for the show (Well, Gazza's got it actually). I have my plane ticket booked (Flying by RyanAir on August 25th). And now I also have my place to stay booked. I'm at a hostel called St. Christopher's Greenwich, which is located on 189 Greenwich High Road. Should be pretty close to the O2 Arena, and equally important: The Pilot Inn. It's VERY cheap to stay at St. Christopher's Greenwich. I have to share a room with 7 other people (Male AND female - Lock up your daughters). Jeez Louise I can't wait to get there. It's the first time for me in England, or off the European mainland (Well, I was in Mallorca once, but I was too small to remember that). My biggest Stones dream will come true: To see them on their home turf. The next dream is to see them in Madison Square Garden in New York, so, hopefully, I'll go there next time they tour (2008. Crossing fingers and toes). I'll end this post by saying: YIPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I'm in London for a few short days. Arriving at August 25th (Checking in to the hostel at 17.00). Leaving again at August 27th at 19.45 from Stanstedt Airport. I really hope I have enough time to go out to see Abbey Road on the last day. Some "Beatles buses" are bound to go there I hope. I want a picture of myself walking over the road (Wearing a Stones shirt of course). Looking forward to meeting you too Jim.
Great for you Kent! Reaching Abbey Road is easy, just hit a bus with "Abbey Road" sign on Oxford St. On the way you pass St John's Wood where Keith and Mick lived a period in the 60's.
It seems I have to wait two hours before the booking of the hostel goes through (I just called them). I got a text message on my cell phone about the booking though. Should be all right i hope.
Hi Kent. I´m at the 21st and 23rd shows. If you visit Abbey Road Studios, there will be a long white wall in front of the building. It will be mostly covered with visitors signatures from around the world. Now and then the wall is painted over. But don´t feel inhibited to leave your mark. Don´t forget the camera. LOL. If you have any spare time you must visit Cambden Town. It´s wacky and bohemian. A great place to shop, eat and get pissed. Have a good one old bean.

Well just take the Tube to St. John's Wood station...then there's a 500 meter walk to Abbey Road and on the way you can ring the bell at Paul McCartney's London house and show him your T-Shirt ;-)
Seeing the stones on their homeground is a unique experience.Have a great time.I wish I could be in London for O3 shows but unfortunately some things got in my way.The Stones put on a great show at Twicks last year(I've been to the second one).
PS BEWARE RYAN AIR. Dont buy anything on the flight, Ryan Air dont accept coins Notes only and round the price up to the nearest large note, they also dont tell you this until after they pour the drinks Grrr.
