Meeting place at 3 Brødre in Karl Johan.. From there it's only 10-20 meters to the tube station, where we can jump on a train to Helsfyr (very close to the venue.)

It must be in the nothern part of Karl Johan Street, the southern part is invaded by prostitutes, junkies and bettlers. Dasslokket right beside Stortinget
(the norwegian parlament) is fine if the weather is nice.

Hold your breath...
We are having a Pub Crawl the Saturday after the Oslo Concert.
This is totally non Stones. With the Stones on the Wednesday I have to set the trail/select the routing on the Tuesday before the concert (we are talking 16 pubs).
Wanna join in when we investigate the route? Have to post a time/place later
It will be Grunerloekka/Torshov this year. Great area if you haven't seen it.
A wild guess is Tuesday, Two Dogs, Brugata at 16.00

What about Vålerenga Vertshus as the last waterhole before the show.

I believe there was +10 C recently in the Oslo area. May be not rain but still it is what I call bad weather and then not so nice outside. But I am sure on August 8 the sun will shine and it will be +30. The Oslo area deserve good weather now. I was told we got 360 mm rain in 30 days this summer. That is 1/3 meter!

You will have a beer in your hand before most people are halfway trough the Tube queue.
Kampen Pub, around the corner, is not as nice but will be more quiet if VV is packed.
