Kenny Wayne Shepherd

It's been a while seen I've seen him live. He was the support act for The Eagles during the European leg of the Hell Freezers Over Tour.
I just visited his site [www.kennywayneshepherd.net]
What a great guitarist and what a great voice. I don't think he is very famous in Europe. But I think he must be popular in The US.
Even as Joe Bonamassa

Do yourselves a favour and order 10 Days Out CD/DVD..The DVD is stunning with wonderful performances from some of the greatest Blues players alive, and some who sadly passed away since the DVD was released..If it doesn;t move you you must be dead up from the neck..

True - I'll have a Shepherds pie in his honour and check out his music later.

I saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd at a Seattle tribute to Hendrix, which was a mixed bag to say the least.

At one point they had nine guitar players on "Voodoo Chile". Thankfully, I had just left and am happy to have missed this.

Out of the bunch of variously talented or untalented guitar players I was quite impressed by KWS. His passion seemed real, not fake.
