Imo this is one of the best solo songs by Mick. Great ballad imo. Is anyone else in love with this song?

i like it too...but whenever i see the title, i think
of "Don't Tear Me Up"...another MJ song that I like...but they
both remind me of an ex-girlfriend.

Funny how songs evoke specific emotions in us, huh?

I usually sing along to "Don't Tear Me Up" when I listen to it, and I add passion to the line "I don't ever wanna see your picture again."

I imagine I'm having a personal discussion with Mick about "Freejack."

I don't know but it would have fit great on a Stones album. He may have had the song laying around for a few years before he did Goddess..

It is a great song indeed!

It's an easy listening Jagger ballad - a bit of a parody, still OK for elevators
Hard Woman is in the same vein - only a lot lot better

Personally think it's the best thing MJ has done outside the Stones.

Mick makes his debut on slide guitar on this one. Hard to believe we wouldn't have had "Back of My Hand" or the great version of "I Can't Be Satisfied" on THE BIGGEST BANG without this first.
