2011/2012 keith will be 4-5 years older than when he last performed disastrously in 2007.
i can´t really imagine how this is going to be any good.

Then there is lots a time for medical treatment. He has stopped drinking and then he will be ok.

Charlie was asked by fans in front of the hotel and after the gig and he always gave the same answer: 2011/2012. This info comes not only from one fan in Austria, but from several individual sources.

I can well believe this is precisely what the Stones are gonna do, 2011/2012. And THAT, dear people, IF they do indeed do it, is quite likely gonna be IT .... !!
And what a magnificent 50 year run they'll have had.

I think he does not like those gigantic tours where you go from stadium to stadium and play along to loops. I don't know him personally but I guess he wants to play the music he likes in front of a small responding audience with other expectations than the warhorse-plus show. After all, musicians are only human and it can wear you off playing standardized megashows to anonymous masses. I will not go to see him but I think it is great that he proves to be a passionate musicians after all these years.

i rather think this whole "i don´t really like rock&roll and i don´t like touring and be away from home" is more image and myth than true.

Ok,if they can't pull it together for a tour in 2010 I certainly don't think they are holding out any sentiments to wait for 2011/2012 for a 50 year annvy tour. If they were physically capable of going on tour this year. I believe they would have.
They know full well the next tour will be their last. They have never been able to anything on a small scale. Their will not be a series of small Stones tours to follow the next one. They will do one more mega tour and that will be it. That's the only way they know how to operate. Unfortunately it's a big a IF,as to whether they can pull it together for one more mega tour.
