Video screens and night shows

Is it just me or do others find the giant video screen a distraction from the band – even if they are 200 metres away? Night shows are tough on the eyes’ ability to focus. I remember the 1981/2 tour – no screens but daylight performances. Great, no problem. And you can be home a reasonable time and tucked up with a warm drink too.

I couldn't disagree more. From 200 meters away and no screen you might see something moving around on the stage but you couldn’t make out the band from a cover band really. A rock concert is not only an aural but also a visual event. So come a little closer, enjoy the well-lit stage, see what the boys look like these days. Wave to Lisa if you don’t care about the boys. And last not least try to enjoy a chilled drink after the show smiling smiley
