Hotel Maria Christina, San Sebastian, 24. june 2007 15.20PM.

4 x Mercedes lined up, every with one open door, in front of the hotel main door.

The Rolling Stones leaves a hotel in style.

We were about 30-40 fans and press waiting outside.

First came Charlie out. Smiling but shy as we know him. Dressed in a beatiful light suit he took place in the first Mercedes.

Then Ronnie together with his wife. Stopped at the steps and wawed to the fans.
Moved and clowned as he do on the stage, before he & Jo entered the second Mercedes.

And after 8-10 minutes, Keef came out, smiling and smiling.
I was only 1-2 meters from him. He looked really fantastic!
Dressed in many colours, and had a very fresh look in his face.
He was so beautiful and so cool and he really looked happy and ready for the
rest of the tour.

And now there were only one Merdeces left.
I stood beside the open right backdoor of the car.
Surprised that no bodyguards said anything.
And then he came. Mick Jagger.
First waving to the fans and then going to the cardoor, right beside me.

I have been to 29 Stones-shows since the first time in 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark.
And here i stood in the north of Spain 34 years later with Mick Jagger less than 1 meter in front of me. I lay my hand on his shoulder and said "Hi Mick".
He looked at me and gave me his incredible charming Jagger-smile.
I pressed my hand more to his shoulder and said "Thank you so much Mick"
and then he entered the car.

Excuse me my poor english but it was so fantastic for me that I need to tell it to somebody !

The day after (25. june) there was a photo with "my meeting" with Jagger in
the local newspaper "El Diaroi Vasco". I bought 4 exemplares.

Cool, wish I coulda shared the moment.

O know those moments but the in concert moments are much more exiting....but they fade away....why?.....must be the festival beer.....i mean some vids are here....but the real deal is gone!!! And i was trying to stay sober this time!

it seems like in europe all 4 stones are willing to go out the front door. in the US, they all do it separately with the glimmers sneaking out the back (charlie and ron more likely to go out the front door). i happened upon their departure in stockholm '03 and it was a gala event. i've gone to hotels in the US hoping for the same but it's usually disappointing.

I´m working at the airport of Madrid and yesterday the Stones left Madrid to fly to Almería. Well, at last I got it!! Gave my hand to Charlie, to Ronnie who left me take one pict with him!! Mr.Keith Richards (oh my God!!) gave me his hand and signed me my ticket of the Madrid show. I said: "Keith you´ve just made my dreams come true!!" And he said: "Oh, sure?" and finally Mr. Jagger!!! He signed my ticket too!! All the Stones were very very friendships at this time. Yes a dream come true!! Of course, took more pictures at the stairs to plane. A day to remember the rest of my life!! I´d like send you my picts but I don´t know how! Can anybody help me??
