OT? Renewing Acquaintences With The Spouse

This might sound odd to some, but my wife and I now have some completely alone time for the first time in years. Our daughter is spending the summer with her grandparents out of state, so it's just the two of us.

When both parents work, and you have a child, there's not much time to be alone with the spouse. Most of the spare time is spent in tending to family matters.

The "empty nest" syndrome hasn't yet hit, but I'm sure it will. Right now, I'm thankful that I have a brief break from being dad and can concentrate on being a husband.

This is a preview, of sorts, as one of these days, our daughter will grow up and leave home for good.

.....seriously, sometimes too much time together can be the kiss of death of a relationship....I suggest getting a hobby, bassplayer.....that's what I did back when I was married, I took up freebasing as a hobby.....we were divorced within months.....

Sipping Maker's Mark while crocheting together
in the nude can sometimes kick start a good night...

While this explains much, as a failed crocheter (?) I'd suggest proceeding with some caution, as you may end up with an afghan permanently affixed to your bits...

Suggest a milder beverage - and let's be careful out there!

Watch a rest-home introductory video while both sky-high on acid
will have her begging for the security of your manly tattooed lovin' arms....

The only thing more depressing than "renewing acquaintances" with a spouse is getting stuck with one in the first place.
