this plan isn't very clear to me, it seems that the stage won't be on the side where goal normally stands, but something like in Frankfurt, on flank?
anyone got any photos from some other concerts on ferenc puskas?

Yes you are right the stage won't be on the goalpost side.
If you look at the picture you will see why!

By the way is anyone knows how are the ticket sales are going for Budapest?

Whats that, only half a stadium?
but it should be quite good, soundwise - no walls to reflect the sound.

...and no chance to put a roof on top winking smiley

The stadium is a bit strange, a half.So on every concert the stage has to be on the longer side. Capacity is about 48.000 because the upper sectors are closed, they are in dangerous condition. 2 weeks ago 35.000/48.000 (70%) tickets were sold according to Live Nation (organizer company)

In 1995 The Rolling Stones played a great concert here in this stadium and the sound was crystal clear!!! So don't worry!

We have a month till the concert so I expect a nearly sold out gig. You have to know that in Hungary there are big economic difficulties this year, so many peaple hasn't got enough money for these high prices.

I'm sure they negotiate with him.
Problem is but would he use his new or old band?

Picture Tibor Tatrai - Bill & Laci aka Hobo.. !!
The others could be onstage too.
Plus the old rhythm section.

I pray to the Lord up above that Hobo will warm up
in Budapest & in Brno.

No matter how; Tatrai as a warm-up would = Hobo too.
Uncle Bill a.k.a Bill Bácsi = Hobo; they are like one team.

.......Since Hobo Blues band Mk II, the classic edition,
is gone from Youtube;
I can "only" link ya to this song

¤ From 1995 with Hobo...
Gázember, classic own-written song... [video.aol.com] Tatrai here too, on the Go.......

¤ Ditto gig Torta [www.rollonvideo.com]

Tobacco Road from the Balded Dog-movie...

UNCLE BILL [www.port.hu]
Sample from "Uncle Bill"'s Elképesztõ Blues

...
He was also a cardinal figure in HBB Mk II ..
If ya love Chicago Blues, Blues Brothers, ya gonna love this...

Közeuropai Hobo Blues Pt II (Central-European Blues) is out there,
but I cant get the link to work....

Hey Canucks!!!! Look below in this posting!

Hobo is maybe The greatest in Hungary.
But OMEGA is also gross; but they are a little too kind,
never threatened the Commies.

Thing is, the original or famous mark of HBB havent been
playing together for 23 years... Well, with the slight exception
of few times, few nights.

Some kind of compilation with Poka (bass) - Zoltán Pálmai -
Tatrai - Földes(Hobo) & Bill
would be makebelief.... In Brno too!!

Hobos site... [www.hobo.hu]# (many free mp3s there)
Still un-booked July 16 - Aug 1............

- Lookie what I found: smiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smiley Live in Toronto!!!
To @#$%& nite!!!1½ hour left to go!!!
Do not miss!!!!
Wonder if they hit any more Canadian cities.......
