yeah, i've always liked the part where keef starts playing single note lines under MT; very cool, like a counterpoint dual lead or sometihng. good stuff.

I said it before also, THE defining version of this song. Taylor's talent is undeniable and inspiring. Man he could play.

Funny, I was listening to this song yesterday as I was driving and actually thought of posting my thoughts about it. It is no doubt the best live version of Angie. It had been a long time since I had listened to it, but it again had me shaking my head at how perfectly all the elements of the song came together in that performance.

Jagger almost put this version on one of their live releases. It's his
favorite!!!

What a great video-clip collection that guy put out there on Youtube!!

Hope that helps some of the "newer" Stones fans get clued in on who this guy
was back in the 70's - handling Lead Guitar duties for the greatest R&R band.

It's sad really that so many "fans" don't know who Mick Taylor is or that he
was even in the band...
