What a GREAT bubbling plan.

Fun....but hell they did it in NY NY 75...on that truck!

Some sort of stage on a monorail.
Perhaps it can do a lap around the front edge of an arena balcony.

would probably work best if the Stones faced "inward", i.e toward the center of the hall. Close to the edge of the stage so the folks below can see 'em better. The stage would need plexiglass all around... sort of like your original Pope-mobile idea.

But I'm also re-thinking the rails...
Perhaps two rails are needed, not one.
For stability and strength...

(Imagine the bad press -- not to mention the terror and tragedy -- that would result from the collapse of the Balcony B Stage as it rode. This would be quite bad for for the fans and the Stones.)

In any case to offset the cost of staging of such a huge theatrical spectacle, plus the cost of the extra liability insurance... ticket prices would need to be raised.

We're all so damn old and corporate now, we'd turn it into a Team Building exercise to see who could build a bridge out of empty water bottles, souvenir programs, gum from under the seats and the kid selling ice cream bars. None of us would get wet. We'd all end up on the B asking Mick for investment advice...

Build a small train track around the stadium field...put a small choo choo train, the kind you see in shopping malls around the holidays that kids can ride.

Let the Stones do a 2 song acoustic set on the moving train and if fans want to come up with $5,000 each - they can ride in the caboose.

ten grand the coal car.....

The '75 truck ain't no pope mobile. Imagine Pope Benedict doing a sermon on that truck: "Moses prayed to God to split the waters, BROWN SUGAR, and God...."
