Been contacted by a friend employed by the Stones crew who has asked us on Rocks Off to put forward some fan requests for the upcoming tour, which will be relayed to Keith . Hopefully even at this late stage, we might be able to get the band to play the occasional fan favourite.

Worth a shot, I'm sure you'll agree and hopefully some folks on here can help out too

I'm going to collate the requests and send them on at the end of the week.

Emotional Rescue

I listened to the album lately and this song has real potential. A great one especially for Darryl and his funky bas. A good saxophone solo too. I don't how Mick would handle the falsetto part, but he did it great in Worried... so it shouldn't be a problem. This song could rock live.

Most of "ABB" (excepting "Neo-Con)

Besides that, it would be cool if the Stones made a setlist made up exclusively from their "come-back", Steel Wheels, to the present - i.e. nothing before 1989!

Also, throw a lot of cover versions in there - especially Chuck Berry - but I would love to hear what they could with/to a Bo Diddley song! (I love their version of "Who Do You Love" from VL-tour with Bo himself!)

This way they would spell it out that they are still a contemporary band and get to show and salute their roots at the same time.

In that vein, Keef's interlude could be a Gram Parsons song and perhaps another Hoagy Carmichael song. Or "Sing Me Back Home" (Haggard) - perhaps "Careless Ethiopians" (Toots and the Maytals)

i would love ths stones to ditch some of the warhorses like honky tonk woman, satisfaction, start me up, its only rock and roll and you cant always get what you want.

and replace with a mixture alternating at each concert, stuff like love in vain, live with me, stray cat blues, get off my cloud, lady jane, back street girl, have you seen your mother baby, luxury, time waits for no one, citadel, cool, calm and collected.
