I really would like to find a pic of them doing star star with that thing up - I'm sure I could find one simple enough, but my work computers filter out anything like a goggle image search or anything like that.
I saw it live in Seattle '75 and I must tell you it was really fast, but by that time Mick had mastered the timing. I remember the glances between the band members, like "Streuth, we've bought it this time, mates!"
"The wonder of Jimi Hendrix was that he could stand up at all he was so pumped full of drugs." Patsy, Patsy Stone

It's funny you mention that because I was just thinking that Charlie probably is sitting there thinking, "What a ridiculous scene this is!"
Yeah, nice one that Pay Pay, reminds me when I went to see them five times in the same week at Earls Court London in 1976 - Star Star was great, particularly the night Princess Margaret was in the audience... ha haa...
dang yap yap.....that was an excellent video...I forgot how freakin' good that song is......that inflatable pecker thing is pretty weird though, but hey, it's rock and roll right?.......party on!!!
Rockman ALWAYS has the right picture for the right thread...I don't think there is a Stones-related post that Rockman DOES NOT have the right picture for! Mr. Rockman...how DOES one post pictures on IORR? I haven't a clue how to do this because there's no 'attach' function on the page. Can anyone help me here?
Diamond rings, Vaseline, you gave me disease, well, I lost a lot of love over you.

I thought the same, when much to my surprise, I read somewhere that Charlie Watts actually thought that was one of the props to keep!! (Forgot where I read it, though - glad this isn't a thesis!!) ;-)
