No Europe tour for ZZ Top

ZZ Top has canceled its European tour so Dusty Hill can undergo treatment for a benign growth in his inner ear that's affecting his hearing.

Dr. Shawn Nasseri, a California otolaryngologist who is treating the 57-year-old bassist and singer, said preliminary plans don't include surgery.

The band's European tour was to start June 15 in Leipzig, Germany. U.S. concert dates in July and August aren't expected to be affected.

Damn, I was gonna see 'em on the 17th in Potsdam.
allthough it was gonna be a free concert anyway,
I have an extra early flight from Paris to Berlin on that day.
Now it's useless rushing away from beautyful Paris after the Stones gig.

I saw ZZ in Youngstown Ohio last night. They played around 90 minutes. Set list was typical of the last 5 tours. Here's what they played, 2 songs I forget. Pictures were shot from 6th Row center with Sony Point n Shoot digital.

Billy and Dusty were full of energy and Frank (never a showman) did what he does best...keeping the grove down.

damn I was going to see them at Arrow Classic Rock Festival in Biddinghuizen (Netherlands) in June!!!! Too bad....
Unfortunately Velvet Revolver has cancelled the Graspop Festival in Belgium too... that's two setbacks for me!!! FORTUNATELY THE STONES STILL HAVEN'T CANCELLED NIJMEGEN !!!!!!
