I looked up on the web that the person right from Ron (the leadsinger of the band) is 6 ft 2.5 (189 cm) tall (www.celebheights.com/s/Conor-Deasy-2762.html). So he's really thin, small and fragile!! I didn't knew he looked that thin/fragile, but that's maybe because the other Stones aren't tall either. I've always thought he looked fairly good but now I can understand a bit why some journalists describe him as being a sort of 'living dead body' sometimes (I don't know the right words/expression to say it). Now I really wonder how Keith looks in reality. I think you can't get a right idea about Mick/Keith/Ron when you see them on stage... you really have to stand next to them in normal daylight.

Same size as the guy on the left. All the Stones are below average size, Mick said it had something to do with lack of meat growing up in London. If I remember correctly.

I heard that too. I think Bill talks about it in "Rolling With..." Something to do with food rationing during the war years.

I have met Ronnie on two separate occasions, and love him, he's a great person and artist!
I am 6'4", and was amazed at how small he is...he looked like a dwarf.
I've met Keith briefly as well, but he was on a platform above me, I couldn't see how small he was.
I've noticed the others being rather small as well.
It's particularly noticeable when they walk down the catwalk,
everything comes into perspective.
They're like a gang of miniatures walking towards the B-stage.

Met Ronnie when he was promoting his autobiography/picture book...I am 6' 3" and I towered over him. He was so gracious and friendly, and genuine! He readily signed my copy of Lacerated with a sly grin and a handshake. My buddy and I gave him a few choice photos we took at his show with Bo Diddly and he was very appreciative. Nice block!

i know! my boyfriend is about 5'9"-10" and 140lbs. and he's stick thin - i can't even imagine being taller than that and weighing less...

well wait a minute - they're all below average weight for sure, but Mick and Keith
are both about average height (which for UK males is 5'9"/176 cm) and the other two are real close to that too.
i dig how surprising it is to find the Stones aren't taller - we're so used to looking up at them,
plus they're somehow proportioned like tall people (whatever that means!),
plus of course they are such giants on the inside - but they aren't what anyone normally calls short either.

You mean they aren't fifty feet tall? The Love Is Strong video was just trick photography?

Jagger is actually 5'10" I think, so he's not tall but not a short guy either. I think the only one that is really short is Ronnie.

Many folks who meet Keith express surprise that he looks a lot more healthy and robust than the camera often portrays him.

That doesn't surpise me. He probably has a lot of stamina problems these days so when he is on stage (which is usually where the camera will catch him) he will appear "winded".

I'm only 25 but ft 5'10 and about 63 kilos, if not less. And I'm well alive and kickin'. = )

couple of other powerful talents and giants of stage that are diminutive of physical stature... i'd hate to do without, aside those dwarvian little most excellently brilliant rolling stones...

not gonna get freudian about all this...hopefully...but some mighty powerful spirits and talents come out of fairly slight little guys...ha i think the entry requirements for small faces was you had to be under 5'4" ...(joke i joke)
but you really did feel like you could put steve mariott in one pocket and ronnie lane in the other kinda...

Ronnie did look like a giant next to Angus and Malcolm.
