This is a good one. It gave me a warm feeling inside.

Too bad the diapers didn't come off a lot of the songs from the album. I still want to hear Back of My Hand live...

Hey LQ, sorry if i'm wrong, and / or sorry to burst the bubble, but this is just the video content from the ABB bonus DVD.

However, the trumpet at the start is very tidy...

Hey, you ain't a dork, and I'm sure there are plenty of people here who don't have the ABB bonus DVD, so they are loving the footage.

The DVD came with the re-issued ABB. I remember there was a thread around the time and people were pissed off that we had to go and buy the new version just to get 'under the radar', 'we don't wanna go home', and the interview stuff.

Besides, like I said, the trumpet work on the theme tune for the programme is awesome...! smiling smiley

Neither one of the two news songs are very good.

Although many people seem to think "Under the Radar" is one of the best from the ABB sessions + should have been on the album. I have no idea why they think so highly of the song. Like much of the album it's simply ok at best.

In reality it is nothing but filler or a b side.

If the Stones had cut several songs off the album instead of putting almost everything on, ABB would have been a nice latter day edition to the catalog. Instead it's an album with a bunch of really good songs and a ton of filler.

Never understood that philosophy. If they left some songs off of ABB most people would be scrambling to find them on some outtakes bootlegs anyway so why not take them on the cd and avoid the hassle? If you think it is filler then program your cd player to remove them and you will have a stronger album.

The other problem with removing songs is that everyone disagrees on what songs should be removed. Some people don't like BM, but removing it would damage the album imo.

I mean if the songs were truly bad it would be a different story but I don't think any of the songs on the first version of ABB are truly bad. I haven't heard the two bonus songs on the second version of ABB so maybe they should have been left off.

The thing that irked me about those two bonus tracks is that they should have either included them on the first version or made them available in some other way instead of making people who already had ABB purchase the second version for nearly thirty bucks just to get two more songs and some video content.

mercy - yeah the two tracks are "any good"!
i have my own theories about why Don't Wanna Go Home didn't make the final cut,
but Under the Radar would've fit in very nicely without needing to kick anything off the album.

Wow, you haven't heard them?
They are very good, in my opinion - should have replaced two songs on ABB!
