Did anyone catch Paint It Black on American Idol tonight? The theme was the British Invasion. One of the girls tackled Paint It Black. The Kinks' You Really Got Me and the Zombies' She's Not There and Time of the Season were performed as well.

Yup,
I saw her bucher it.
I didn't like the way she changed the melody.
She can sing, just not tonight.

Oh god that was horrible. I had to listen to the original Paint it Black to remove that noise from my ears. The best song was the lady that sang "Diamonds Are Forever". Shes the only one who did the original justice.

What a lame version of Paint It Black. That chic is cute and has done better on other nights but she botched it tonight. Sometimes these singers try too hard to put their own stamp on a song and change it too much.

yeah really.........a friend IM'ed me online to let me know she was singing "Paint It Black". I caught about the last 45 seconds. It was pretty damn bad to my ears.
