What an incredible version of this song. Maybe the finest to my ears.

It is a great version very crisp. A better version is from MSG 1975 in between Cherry Oh Baby and Wild Horses. Once you play thru those three you will never stop listening.

Yes, I've had this recording on tape for years and I knew it was somwehere in Europe but not sure where - sounds just like most of the 73 tour gigs I saw, when they were magnificent with MT...

"...till the next time..."

It is absolutely beautiful.

So good in fact, that Jagger had originally wanted a side of "Love You Live" to include this and others from the 1973 tour.

MT's glistening soaring solo and listen to the end MT and Keith actually trade licks. A whole lot of weaving going on.

probably the ONLY version of Angie I listen to is from Brussels...truly beautiful.

This was mooted to be "released" by the Stones in mid-70's...until the Klein-factor kicked in !

Usually a run-to-the-bathroom-get-another-beer tune but not this version. MT's solo's are fantastic.

I've never been a big fan of this song, but I agree that this version is terrific...

Great version--like everything on that boot.

If you get the chance the version from "It's Only Goat's Head Soup" is excellent as well. It is (I think) the same vocal/guitar track but it does not have those insipid strings and as a consequence sounds, imo, like much more of a "Stones sound".

I've also read those comments about Jagger wanting to release the 73 Brussels version of "Angie". This tells me that an official-release-quality version of the 73 tour is in their archives. Of course, most of us already have the KBFH recordings, so IF it ever happens, it will be sometime after most of the Stones (and their older fans) are deceased.

This is a shame, but it's apparent that the Stones' kids will be the caretakers of the contents of the recording vaults.
