I was just wondering while listening to my favourite Keith song, Little T&A, how it would sound like if Mick was singing it. I like his backing vocals and based on them I could well imagine him doing a great version of the whole song. But maybe without the "heys", because that's so Keith. Maybe he could add something new of his own to his version?
Anyone else who would like to hear Mick sing LTA or another Keith tune?
keith song? I'd like to hear Mick sing STRUGGLE. I'd be happy if they'd start singing HAPPY together again. The combination of Mick and Keith's vocals are what makes that song for me.
I'd be curious to hear him sing Before they make me run. Somehow, this is the song that seems to me most specifically fitted to Keith's voice and I'm not sure Mick could even do it justice - it would be worth hearing what he does with the melody.
Salth of the earth..same story....those songs are so good i rate them very high ..i wish they did more duets..and simply sing together..what happened!?
What a nice thread!! It reminds me of the thread we once had about the last time Jagger was on stage during Keiths act ( Leeds 82..yes! Jagger on background vocals!!).

Mick has a great rock-voice...right! Keith doesn't? I don't agree! Ok, he has no "beautyful" voice or so but he has the perfect rock-musician voice, in every single tone you hear his cigaretts, drinks etc. I like hearing his voice for some minutes a gig.
OK, we'll let Keith keep BEFORE THEY MAKE ME RUN cause it sounds like his life story (even though I've read Mick wrote it) but he's got such a TOM WAITS type voice that it sounds better on slower, moody songs... I love when Jagger used to take over HAPPY in the 70's when Keiths voice was too shot. There's one version where Mick almost sings the whole thing solo - and I LIKE IT, LIKE IT, yes I do...

i listened to eileen over and over and i don't think anyone could sing it better than keith, at least in that period...his voke sound is incredible on studio version. still supple; desperate scrream in the tenor is still there, full bodied, controlled...totally deep performance; magic. so maybe i'd have to go with what 'send it to me' posts below...
