Scored Rolling with the Stones for $5!

Ordered Bill's book online from Barnes and Noble last week, but was waiting to post this until I actually received it, because I couldn't believe the price (too good to be true). I thought maybe I'd receive something else, but for $5 it was worth the risk.... I was about to order it from Amazon for $50 when I decided to do a search on Yahoo shopping and it popped up at B&N for 90% off.

Well it came yesterday, and its the real thing. The book looks great, I'm just starting to get into it.

Question: Why do you think the big discount? Did it not sell, so it's sitting in warehouses collecting dust and taking up valuable space - so dump it at any cost? I don't get it. Any ideas?

I bought my copy for $25 brand new. I guess they ordered too many and can't sell them.

Rolling with the Stones for $20:

I went to Giants Stadium last fall and scored a ticket for only $20.

THAT'S Rolling with the Stones.

'According To The Rolling Stones' is available from Barnes & Noble for $5.98. It was originally $40.00.

Stones books never sell well, for some reason. Beatles books, yes--Stones books, no.

Even Bill's book never made any Best-seller lists when it was released. It went out-of-print pretty fast though it's back in print now, I believe, from a small press.

Smell it, a dog may have peed on it. Seriously.

Well, now I'm really glad I didn't pay full price for it!

I think I paid 10 Canadian dollars for my Phoenix Stones ticket Aug. 10, 2005. That is around 8 USD and around 6 Euro. Nice price.

Maybe Bill Wyman peed on it.
