¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º° What Is The Frequency ?

The same subjects come up again and again:

Why did Mick Taylor leave the Stones?
Who is better MT or RW?
What was their best show ever?
Their worst?
Best album?
Worst?
...and on and on...

How often do these exact same topics repeat?
Once a month? Every two months?

What is the frequency, Kenneth?

I'm drunk / what are you drinking / what's your favourite beer seems to crop up often too. Not that I'm saying that iorrians are pissheads.

Pass me another beer.

One reason is that the content is limited in scope. While outside threads are "tolerated" to some extent, BV wants to keep the tunnel open for
Stones issues or music related with a Stones flavor only.

No political, religion, sex, issues that cause arguments and send posters squealing to the maker. A lot of us have been tapped on the shoulder on occasion.

The lack of those other issues sometimes makes people drift away. Also some newbies who have participated or others have been off the board for awhile, chime in without realizing it has been discussed recently. Lastly these are topics that create lots of reaction and posts.

I still think BV should create a forum for just that type of conversation to allow some long time posters to spew a little. On a site of woodworking that I frequented they had a forum called "Breaktime" for anyone to discuss whatever they wanted. "A non shop talk forum" People loved it. It kept the chatter of other issues separate from the site topics and the people using it enforced it that way. If anyone asked a non-topic related question they were advised to use the "Breaktime" thread.

19% are repeats
24% are ridiculously assinine threads
18% are let's see photos threads
15% are drinking related
14% are RIP threads
10% are new and fresh topics

Yeah it will probably look a lot like it does now.
