Eddie Kendricks was one of the Temptations. A huge talent. Great song too.

I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles
Hm.

Actually I made six shows for Radio Guld
with "And The Year Was..." about 1960, 61, 62, 63, 64 and 1971...
You tend to get amazed by the quality of the music 1960-63,
as a common notion seems to be it was a low-watermark those years
for pop and rock music.

US - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack
UK - Amazing Grace- The Pipes & Drums & Military Band of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guard

What a couple of winners. Talk about born under a bad sign...

Oh Mein Papa - Eddie Calvert (UK)

Sorry - The US charts started in 1955. If you were born before this, try your life's theme song which is the No.1 on your 18th birthday

When I was 18

Without You - Nilsson (US)

My finger is going down my throat right now!
