That list is a bit deceiving. Iggy really is a hellraiser only on stage. In life he is very quiet and proper. Ozzy can not help himself; he is just too stupid and fried. His "hellraising" cames from cursing and bumping into stuff; falling off his furniture during his TV show. Lee and Sixx, while I sort of like them are idiots. Anyone who feels they have to tell you at every turn "Man I died three f*cking times. Dude, I woke up and the needle was STILL IN MY ARM ,dude.." Keith was prettyt classy about it all. I never ever saw Keith tell war storied about nodding off, banging 3 chicks at once etc.
Surprised that Pete Doherty isn't on there. Keith Moon, Bon Scott, Harry Nilsson, Scott Weiland, Slash/Izzy/Duff/Adler in the heyday.

Pete Doherty was on the list but didn't make it to the top 5, can't remember where he came into the list. The list seemed to intend to only be for still-living hell-raisers and had some edited captions for James Brown's slot on the programme. Otherwise surely there would have been a very different list, Keith Moon could not have been missed off!

I was quite mystified about Ozzy Osbourne's placing at number 2. It seemed to be mostly justified by the fact that the US contributors could only understand about 25% of what he said. Apologies to any Brummies reading this, but I think this was more a result of his native city than his brain frying over the years.

As Chelses Drugstore said, at least Keith has class as well as the hellraising.

And what about Lemmy?

As per the deceased Keith Moon was the biggest hell raiser.

Yes, I was expecting Moon the loon to be no.1 ,but I guess it's only living hellraisers.

So what rare Keith clips were featured?

i doubt they were rare, but i think one clip shown was when they came back from there 1969 tour, keith is there with anita and marlon? I think thats what i saw anyway.
I'm sure slash did the same thing as nikki sixx, as in his heart stopping then coming back to life?
Nikki sixx looks quite well though if the stories are true doesnt look to fried at all. x

Keith isn't [and never really was] a "Hell Raiser" in the same way that many folks featured in this show are. He differs from Nicki six, and I think Ozzie, in this respect.

Keith simply does what he wants and doesn't care too much for other folks rules or prejudices.

He doesn't do it for effect. [Though he does rather enjoy and nurture his image in a mischevious way.]

Definitely on the list but I can't remember where at the moment.

Did they show that early 70's press conference clip where a journalist (off-camera) is telling Keith that he recently ranked #2 behind Lou Reed in a poll of "the rock star most likely to die"? Keith is not amused by the journalist's comment at all, but handles it in an amusingly campy way, rolling his eyes and speaking in a simpering accent. In the U.S., this clip was featured in "The Drug Years" doc on VH1.

Was it episode 3 would you know, because that is the one posted on youtube?

No this was just a rundown of what they perceived to be the biggest Hell Raisers still living.

Not the best programme on the planet.

A few pics of Keith.

They mentioned the rumour that he had a complete blood transfusion.

Also comments about the Stones having rooms within rooms at parties where they could go and take various substances away from prying eyes.

I'm sure in @#$%& blues there's a scene where jagger does coke?

Ozzy Osbourne definitly deserves to up there in the top echelons of rocks greatest hellraisers, the stories are vast and numerous of his exploits over the years. Those that are making generalisations about him because of the horrific TV show surely aren't aware of his hellraising legacy.

As for Tommy & Nikki, i must admit I was surprised when Nikki got the number 1 spot, but it made sense, those motley Crue boys really did go to town.

Jerry Lee Lewis should have been, though....

compared to him, some of the inclusions are pretty laughable

hehee the Killer! I rememeber once reading an interview with him and the conversation shifted to him jamming syringes into his stomach full of Talwyn. He does make most of the others look like dilletantes.
