Just heard today on the Stones SIRIUS channel that after 18 months the channel is going off the air. Apparently it never was meant to be a permanent channel and was on the air just for the ABB tour. If any of you enjoy the channel and listen to it often (like myself), it probably can't hurt to let them know we'd like to keep in on the air.

Yes I LOVE that channel. Same with my friends this SUCKS!

I bought an iPod Shuffle. Holds about 240 four-minute songs. It has no features per se just plays whatever's on it straight or in shuffle mode. I loaded about 225 Stones songs onto it lasting about 14 hours without a repeat. I listen to it when I walk the dogs or patch it into my main audio system so I can pump it thru the house. I'm listening to "Miss Amanda Jones," out of "Respectable" as I type this and it just went into the live version of "All Down The Line" from the Wild Horses single.

Maybe if the Stones announce their 2007 European dates soon and the tour is still called ABB, Sirius would reconsider?

Wishful thinking but I doubt everything I just wrote.

That's too bad---you would think there would be enough interest to keep it going.

I mean, what do they have, 200 stations or something?

I was just about to get a Sirius radio just for that. Have to rethink that now.

I just heard the news this morning and was terribly disappointed. It was the only music station that I listened to. I hope that if anyone here has Sirius that they will write to them AND call to voice their feelings. It certainly has put a ruination on my New Year!!! : (

Go to AOL MUSIC and then go to the ROCK station. They have a station called 'Satisfaction' which is great if you're home and on the computer reading the posts from all our fellow STONES fans! Listening to CYHMK right now. Taylor is out of his mind!
