I always dig that magazines for their shots. They have some great pictures there. But the "interviews" are there just to cover the space.I think the interviews are before Licks tour because they said something about their 40th anniversary if I remember correctly.
If someone wants the tabs I can scan them but I don't have access to a scanner these days.Send in finalick@hotmail.com and I'll send you whenever I can.

A major part of the problem is that virtually ALL guitar magazines are now owned by the same publisher. Consequently, it is basically a monopoly. One of the consquences is that they "recycle" the same articles over and over.

It is kind of sad because I used to really love buying the UK Guitar mags but now it is a total waste because b/c it is the same articles. Of course, the biggest scam is when they put together the "compliations".

Shame.

One thing that is fun is, if you collect guitar articles on the Stones, is that while Keith has his patent stories, recollections etc, is how sometimes, he elects to "rewrite" history.

A good friend of mine works at one of these magazines and he has told me that Keith is one of the favorite interviews and that he, without fail, will manage to get completely intoxicated by the end of the interview. A couple of yrs ago, I got to her some of the tapes (ironically, it was the "Licks" interview) and the difference in his speech from the begining to the end was hysterical.

The only thing I liked about the mag was the pics. If my scanner were working I'd scan and post some. I'd like to see some other transcriptions as well. How many times can the sames recycle the same old tunes? Ad infinitum it would seem.

Awesome shot Rockman. I was at that show, so it's nice to get a souvenir 12 years later.

Thanks. Could you write a letter to that effect to my probation officer? Apparently they take decade-plus absences quite seriously.
