Keith's Folks

Much has been said about the relationship Mick had with his dad, and why wasn't Keith at the funeral, but does anyone know anything about Keith's parents? Living? Dead? Why do we not hear more??

Keith's dad died about 6 years ago, he was in his 80's. Keith's mom, Doris, is still kickin it. I heard she was at some of the shows in Europe this summer.

Bert was known to be around at the 1982 tour,
at least at some places (Göteborg I've heard).

I have read Keith is talkin to Doris once a week.

Keith lives, generally, a much more silent life than Mick does.

I just came across this quote on the web, I think it suits Keith well. waddya think?

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a
pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly
used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW--What a ride!!!"

That's great! Yeah, that fits him pretty well.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Why wasn't Keith at Mick's dad's funeral? I haven't read anything about that! That's terrible. Why wouldn't he have been there?

I can't imagine that we will ever be privy to that information. It's probably not our business anyway (not that I am not curious too, because I am).
