Am I right in thinking this is from one of the bands gigs in the UK in December 1969?

How do you know where this video is from? The youtube clip says it's from Altamont, but having just watched Gimme Shelter a few hours ago, it doesn't look like that show.

The Hiwatt amps they use indicate it's from the few UK dates they played at the end of 1969, they used Ampegs in the USA.

I've read two versions of why they didn't use the Hiwatts in the USA. They had some problems getting their Hiwatt amps through customs or there was some kind of problem with the voltage differences. Anyway, Ampeg offered the stones their amps for the US tour.

It's definitely not Altamont!

This is on a Bootleg DVD I have from @#$%& Blues, the bootlegger thought
he would be a nice guy and added it at the end. It's from England not Altamont.

Kind of "stock" version, I prefer the version from: Gimme Shelter!!
