If Brian were alive when MT quit...

...assuming he had "cleaned-up" would he have re-joined The Stones???

It seems like it was a million years between Brian and Ronnie (since Brian didn't tour in 69). But it was only about five years.

Jagger and Richards would never have allowed it and hopefully Brian would have moved on as well both muscially and in his personal life so he didn't feel the need to go back.

History did not allow Brian to re-join, but Mick and Keith would not have allowed it either. Why risk to let possible trouble re-join the band when a couple of years before you went through a whole lot of shit to get rid of him?

With all the bands I played in it always was a desaster to let former members re-join. The left or were fired for one or more good reasons, and people really don't change as much as one is tempted to believe. After a while, more or less those some old problems appeared again.
