Yeah, Fogerty still has it - but, err...which halftime?

The reason Fogerty sings the way he does...CCR couldn't afford a microphone or speakers in the beginning, so Fogerty had to sing so loud that he could be heard through the drums/guitars noise. So I've read, anyway, it's not a joke.

Well I wish we'd see more of him over here in UK. I thought his show in June this year here in London was one of the best things I've ever seen.

I saw a little of it. The Yankee football game it Detriot Lions vs (this year Miami). Every Thanksgiving for about teh last 60 years the Lions play on Thanksgiving.................... The Lions rarely have a good team so who cares..........

Fogerty is great. Now THAT would have been a warm-up act.

His sort of new DVD is EXCELLENT - the guy is a master, he's at the top of his game. Hope he did FORTUNATE SON at that there Football Game......

He did do Fortunate Son...guy is in top form

He flew to kansas City and played their halftime also!

Yeah saw Fogerty a couple years ago at a small club in SF. GreaT show. Not only did he do the CCR hits he dug into the catalog and pulled out a couple of nuggets. Tombstone Shadow and a real old song I nevr heard before called, Wrote a Song For Everyone. Loved that tune so much I downloaded it on I-Tunes. Great tune.

Saw it too. TV2 Zulu broadcasts American football games in Denmark. I thought he put on a good show, and he still has that great scream. I bit annoying that he played the whole thing as a medley though (Only saw the Detroit vs. Miami halftime show). Still I liked it.
Carrie Underwood, a girl from American Idol and former flavour of the week, played another game and I was bored to tears watching that.

Fogerty seemed out of place to me, especially with all those hack musicians 25 years younger than him playing. Yes he still sounds good and can hit the notes fairly well but he belongs in a smaller setting.

He also needs to make amends with the former members and grow up.

Kent, we watched Carrie Underwood with the sound down and she was GREAT! Very good-looking as were the cheerleaders. Coulda been different with sound on. Ditto Britney, etc.

Carrie Underwear, oops Underwood, is absolutely gorgeous from head to toe and I don't really like blondes. But one thing for sure she can't dance. She was stiff on American Idol and just as stiff at halftime. She really needs a dance instructor in the worst way. Her biggest asset is her looks and body and she needs to flaunt it.

Someone post a picture of Carrie - preferrably from Thursday halftime show. Nice camera angles on there!

Fogerty needs a new haircut or he needs to lose the dye-job. He looked plain weird.
