I just came back from the concert. While the Beach Boys warhorses very were pleasant (even though it had the feel of a tribute band), the execution of Pet Sounds was brilliant and mystifying.

Anybody else was there? Any impressions?

I just got back myself and it was really a wonderful concert. All the hits + pet sounds (+ johnny b goode!)
Very satisfying.

Didn't tape it, of course...but I hope someone did.

G od only knows was really very moving. I'm not sure anyone taped it, the staff looked pretty aggressive on that. I got yelled at for taping Sloop John B on my cell phone...

I coulda walked right in. Laxest security I've ever seen at the Beacon. And yes, God Only Knows was a very moving moment...funny when he acknowledged it (No don't do it again!) Haha.

Laxest security at the Beacon was the 1st Stones concert last month. They didn't even try to search me.
