i just heard a news story here that a man and his wife were having an argument and she got really fed up, got a gun out of the closet and shot him , aiming for his head, thru his recliner but the good ol' recliner stopped the bullet completely.

Man's best friend is his recliner. what brand was that? get the word out and now they have a new line of advertising.

"Comfortable, affordable and will even stop a speeding bullet from your angry wife!"

guess she hadn't been to the shooting range lately

I really wanted to contribute, really, but I ended up looking at Google-pictures of recliners. It's not such a shock that a wife shoots her husband, I even expect some woman to shoot me any minute, even though I'm not married....the wierd part is the recliner.

right, Erik. it's a good point that you don't need to be a husband in order to provoke gunfire. and I thank you for bringing the thread back on topic....
