Has there been a BIGGER BANG CONCERT radio broadcast yet? Usually it's in conjunction with a pay per view tv event. I listen to classic rock station but I don't recall any ABB shows.
1981 - Tattoo You tour (HBO? / radio?) 1989 - Steel Weels from Atlantic City (ppv & radio) 1994 - Voodoo from Miami (ppv & radio) 1998 - Bridges/Babylon from St. Louis (free DirecTv & radio) 1999 - No Security (???) 2002 - Forty Licks from MSG New York (HBO) radio? 2005/6 - ??????
Also.....do they still have shows like King Biscuit & Westwood One in the US? Any additional info is appreciated.
The only one was on XM radio for the Rio show. They should broadcast Dodger Stadium or Vancouver even if just so all the people affected by the cancellations and postponements could at least hear it.

To borrow your phrase from a couple of posts....."sad and true"
Btw to the list in the initial post you could add Handsome Girls from '78 cause part of that set was a King Biscuit show. Great bit of radio and still have that cassette laying around some place.
Had to add that one since it is my second favorite Stones tour of all time.
yeah - I still remember taping those KBFH shows back in the day - lived in the UO dorms - would set the tape rolling and then go off and party somewhere else. ah, good times....

Very similar experience. Funny thing is how many times I would have a tape of a band from King Biscuit and then the band would come out with an official release and it would not be nearly as good.
Yep....i miss King Biscuit & Westwood One.......In 81-82 they did a full setlist but each song was from a different venue on the '81 US tour. And another KBFH show they'd play the "best" 3-4 songs from '73 / '75 / '78 / '81 tours. I taped them...more recently transferred to mini-disc....and even more recently converted to MP3s.
KBFH has released some of their shows on cd...but i doubt they will ever release any of the Stones stuff on cd.

I didn't know there excisted KBFH recordings from the Tour Of The Americas 1975. What boot is it on? Would it be possible for you to post the tracks from '75 over at Hot Stuf? Thanks anyway
KBFH recordings from the Tour Of The Americas 1975 don't exist. If they existed they would have appeared on a myriad of bootlegs like the the ones from 1973, 1978 and 1981.
Oohh man, I was really getting my hopes up. Too bad, though there are other good soundboard and audience recordings as the ones mentioned in the tread about recordings from the same tour...
