well..it obviously worked because he ended up marrying her over a decade later

I think his voice is just perfect for this material: flat and new-wave-ish.

No, never heard 'em, save for the song "Monkey Grip" in the distant past.

I don't seem to be that allergic to this voice of his, judging from "In Another Land" and "Downtown Suzie" (..."her" again ?!?), then this... For one thing he sings in tune.

Bill sounds like Cary Grant trying to sing New Wave. There are far worse songs on the album like "Girls." Incidentally, a portion of the "Come Back, Suzanne" video was edited into Hal Ashby's LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER concert film. I believe it appears during "Neighbours."

Interesting point. On the other hand, I wonder if Primitive Cool could have been improved if Bill sang on it instead of Mick? No way it could be any worse!

I am now envisioning a Let's Work remix that mashes it up with the Si Si (Je Suis Un Rock Star) rhythm riff.

You could sell it on ITunes.

I think this a very funny video, I believe Bill thinks so too. It has nothing to do with Bill's capability as a musician, of course. It's just a comedy-scetch.
