yesterday was a press conference at slaski stadium ,they talked about plans for 2007,and at the end,they said that there will be 2 big shows at Ślaski in 2007 : Stones and Genesis and probably one more gig but they didn't say who will be..GREAT NEWS!!!!

maybe its good news for us too. Wizzair fly to Katowice which (I believe) is nearby. And they start direct flights from here from 29 May...

Katowice borders Chorzow so no problem with getting there. It actually takes less time to get there by plane from anywhere in Europe than travel by train from where I live (north of Poland). The tickets should not be too expensive either, I hope not more than 50 EUR for FOS (that was the price for 2006 Warsaw concert). I was hoping for a concert in Gdansk at the end of August for the celebration of Solidarity movement but I guess it won't happen (and the venue where these Solidarity concerts take place is horrible anyway).
