Question to all non-Germans: Tokio Hotel

In Germany, one or two years ago, a young boygroup -called Tokio Hotel- appeared the music-market. They became realtively succesful, and I see similarities to the Rolling Stones:

- young boys
- more discussions about their hairstyles (you must have seen this!)
- alcohol
- parents don't like them
- most fans are screaking girls
- at least one destroyed hotelroom ;-)
...

In Germany, you read pretty much about them, also in normal newspapers.

My question now is, if the name recognition also reaches other countries as Germany?
May be, the Stones management takes them into the supportact-list for 2007?? ;-)

In 2008 the Stones might open for Tokio Hotel...
By the way: My 10 year old daughter is one of those
screaking girls.
I acompanied her to an open air concert of his band.
I'm nearly ashamed to say:
the atmosphere was great and those 16, 17 years
old rookies played well!
My daughter says, they are quite succesful in france
and other european countries too.

Funniest fang I heard in years.
Noone I know have heard them or about them.
Absolutely the first time I hear about them, ever -
and I work with music 14 hours a day...
They might get as big as Spice Girls?
