IORR and Miss You are back. Too bad, as good as they were at the show I was at, I thought they would give those songs some resting time. Maybe Under My Thumb didn't worked, I'm glad PIB is still the opener though. I wish they would drop LSTNT too, still it's good that they brought ONNYA back. Little T&A still there, thank God.

Yes too bad is the word, what a dissapointment after the Boston show. Well Im not wasting any money on them anymore if this will continue.

Halifax is a 'virgin' audience..I'd have expected something like that.

I doubt it people have cars and airplanes exists. That is based on a pretty scary thought. I spent $1,000 bucks last year in Seattle should I hope for an improvement in Vancouver this year? Those are chances one migth not want to take seing a setlist like this. Maybe I have to fly to NY instead?!?

THAT was a cold evening. 7 hours of rain.
Will post some more pictures later tonight. Need the warmest shower ever first.
Youngest crowd I have seen at a Stones gig. Ronnie almost changed hats more often than guitars.

TeleK, think I got a good picture of that silver guitar you talked about after a German show. If it was that one. Don't know much about them.

yes, you will....and somehow I doubt the bulk of the 50,000 fans there flew to the show. Go somewhere where the band never play and you'll get a lot of standards. Thats how it is. The place to get something different is when they do two shows in a row or make a return visit.

TeleK,
Yes, the ZZ top one.
Lousy quality as usual but you can see what it is about.
Haven't resized them (as usual lazy me). Some pre-show there as well.

Sprandel, is that you? on the road somewhere in Nova? or back in Chitown where you belong? If you're there, tell Blondie to funk hisself...and buy his own...

Hey there, new to the forum, and I'd just like to post this quick image I got at the Halifax concert this evening, Had a total blast, the rain...not so much, oh well, small sacrifices, am I right?

Here's a quick shot I managed to catch of Ronnie just beltin' out on the B-stage coming back towards the main stage:

I will have some links later on, of some video captures I was able to grab at the show as well!

Great setlist. The songs leftover from Boston will alternate depending o the locations. I guess. And as a lot of people sid : bet on Dead Flowers in Kentucky. As it is unique show there : IORR and MU were a must. How was the Gig.

More of a traditional setlist, but that's understandable given that they were playing in Halifax for the first time on this tour, not the fifth time like the opener in Boston. And they still opened with Paint It Black, Keith still played You Got the Silver and Little T&A. I'm sure that will be the pattern for every show on this leg of the tour, which I think is great news. I liked their other song choices as well - Let's Spend The Night Together, Monkey Man, Bitch.

It would be nice to see one or two more songs from A Bigger Bang, but I suppose more ABB songs is a lost cause at this point. They're up to 3 from 2 in Boston, but still. I'd also like to see Under My Thumb permanently replace Miss You, but as long as they rotate them I think it works.

Overall I have no problem with this setlist considering the market. The more adventerous setlists will have to wait for the return engagements.

It's even in Canada I think. I only know about it because I watched "Friends". In an episode Ross takes the train to Nova Scotia to see his girlfriend. I think it's the episode called "The one with all the New Year Resolutions".
