One of their best rock n roll since Start Me Up!!!, it is excelent, and better live.

It is a great track. However I fear it is destined to be forgotten by all but hard core devotees.

I like dont Stop...but I didnt when it came out..and man I hated 40 licks+the fact it was a non-new album tour...but the tour was rather good I must say(saw 5 shows )I never play that 40 licks thought..but that song is very good.

Actually I don't give a shit about Don't Stop. It's not bad, but there are much better rarely played rockers (If You Can't Rock Me).

In concert, did Ronnie always have the camera hooked up to the guitar neck during his solo like on Four Flicks MSG? It's one of my favorite Stones guitar solos but I think if he would concentrate more on playing the solo and less looking at the camera and spinning around it would have sounded better on the DVD.

And I do not think they will play this song ever again.

The version from Palais Royale is one of the best.

yes - it was so the audience could see the effect at each show.

why do you guys like the song so much? it's too boppy formulaic for me.

i don't know about "you guys", but for me: the band clearly enjoyed playing it,
which is something i always love to witness.

i guess i think it's a little dorky. formulaic because i think a lot of other bands could write and play it. i like their dirty, edgier stuff - like back of my hand. they usually look like they're enjoying most songs to me, including the overplayed warhorses (except the first united center show in january of this year - from the front row of the B stage, they didn't look like they were having that great of a time - only later did i hear mick was sick - it must've affected everyone).

smile: i dig their "dirtier, edgier" tunes too - but they've always done brilliant pop stuff as well. it's part of who they are.
and the observation that they seemed to enjoy playing it ... hm, Polish musicians talk about numbers that play themselves -
they just loosen everyone up real nice - and Don't Stop (like Tumbling Dice) seems to work that way for the Stones.

It's a good song, not a great one. A bit trite but very catchy. I woulnd't mind hearing it again, but there are a lot of other songs that would precede it on my wish list.

Don't Stop is a nice, catchy track. But, there are sooooo many songs that they could play. My choice would be Let it Rock (on the B-Stage of course). IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY, DOWN IN MOBILE ALABAMA . . . .

A nice mid-tempo song. If it is played, as Mick is also on the guitar that would mean an ABB song excluded. Thus, I would not expect them to have it on a setlist.

They wont but they could cause this aint really the ABB tour..I love it thought but it is a sort of licks to me.

Its bollocks! It's irritating enough that they played their worst ever single on every single Licks date. I certainly never want to hear it live again.

it is drivel. lowest common denominator. formula. junk. crap. a forgettable piece of shit. pick an adjective, but it blows, big chunks.

And it speaks volumes about the current musical taste and state of this band that they played it at every Licks show.

No wonder they're peddling Foxboro tickets for $22.50.

Don't Stop means nothing to me it's to simple, I think they try write a hit but they failed this time.
