Keith plays the solo during the break (where he plays the classical guitar solo on the studio version). Ron plays some lead towards the end of the song, but its not really a solo. Hope this answers your question

Whn was the ive version recorded? I don't think they have played it live many times. Just a few times on Urban Jungle I believe.

It was first played in 89, but quite frequently throughout the Steel Wheels / Urban Jungle tour. There is an excellent version on the boot "Seventh Of July" from a radio broadcast of one of the Wembley shows.

They played it on almost EVERY show in Europe 1990. Great song!!!

erik's right, as usual. that wembley version is magnificent.

I hate to argue but it was not a mainstay on Steel Wheels. I saw 5 shows in Europe in 1990 and 6 in the US in 1989 and only heard it once.

The only time I heard it was in Basel Switzerland in a rainstorm!
