Handsome Girls (both TSP & Dandelion) come on factory pressed silver CDs.
This other "release" is on CD recordables only.

I would go for the Dandelion's version.

For sound Gorgeous Girls Redux, easily. The original recording is fantastic but I always find myself re-EQing all of my settings to get it right. Gorgeous Girls, on the otherhand, sounds flawless and requires no mixing on my part. Sister Morphine is a cdr label but they use Mitsui Thermal discs, which are high quality cdrs.

disagree - I'll go with the original on the pig

I'll go for Dandelion. On TSP you'll miss 4 SB songs, and on Gorgeous Girls...you feel silly for paying for CDRs. Actually I haven't heard GGirls....so I don't count in this discussion.

Ha, I think Mick is faking something on that one, just as in 81/82.

No it's not fake. It's just a lot of air like a balloon stucked in his plastic trousers. Rather embarrassing really. I bet it sounded like a fart when it got out.

Oh I guess you are right, I didn't think of that. The same things you get when you bathe in a big shorts.

this is interesting becasue I dont have the complete handsome girls or GG. I just have some tracks of both, with some multiple versions of songs (JJF and Brown Sugar). some of them like HTW All down the line and star star are titled "Handsome girls alternate Mix version". I have enough songs to make up a set list of that tour including Hound Dog, so, whatever I have im very happy with it. the only complaint I have is that sometimes the tracks go completley silent at the end so you dont have the continuity of listening to a real concert, but thats no big deal.

We are talking about fartsounds here ryanpow.
Did you notice the minimal set-chances between the two shows with everybody complaing with the present ABB setlists?

yeah, basically they played the same songs at every show. they just changed the order of the some girls material in the middle of the show as the tour progressed.

But.....8 new songs + Let It Rock and Sweet Little 16. Talk about risky set.
And they also varied SO much on the 78 tour, in performance.....it must be exciting to follow them around that summer.

I know, I only meant that nobody could complain about the setlist of 78, back in those days....apart from "the guys who only owned Hot Rocks".

Yes back then SATISFACTION was a suprise now and then.
It would be a suprise now if they played satisfaction at the 7 or 8 spot, just like they did on the Voodoo Lounge Tour.
I'd like to repeat that ABB-show should include 5 songs every show.

yeah, i liked how BOB followed satisfaction. on voodoo lounge tour. that was cool.

5 ABB songs a show I mean. 5 songs would be a bit short
