Ok I'll try this again. Would any of y'all think I was crazy if I told you my favorite Stones tune was "What to Do?" Cheers!

I like the song a lot, but it is lightweight. It sounds like the kind of tune tey dreamed up and recorded in 5 minutes. Take It Or Leave It is my favourite of the UK Aftermath tunes left of the US version.

a bit of a throwaway, but I really like Keith's quite funny backing vocals on it

Not a bad track but not the best!

A song that would make people of today smile, at least if other people than The Stones sang it.

Yeah Gazza! And have you noticed Mick and Keith sing different words? That's their privelege I guess.

The Meat Puppets did a cover that was included with a disc of Stones covers that came with an issue of Uncut a few years back. Loopy little version that captured the spirit of the song.

I like the tune myself. My introduction to it was on More Hot Rocks.

Don't really like it as the closer for Aftermath (UK). I grew up with/prefer having "Going Home" end the album. It's more....substantial. It was a breakthrough (if only in length) that brings a breakthrough album to a fitting conclusion.

What To Do has a sort of whimsey that kind of undermines everthing previous when it ends the record. (I usually like whimsey--I'm a NRBQ fan!!)

But yeah, a great song.
