Anyone out there know why tickets are now so easy to get in the US.
I just went on to Ticketmaster and was able to buy one of the best seats in the house for face value in Atlantic City ( US$490 including all taxes.) I am in the lower section closest to the stage? Shouldn't these tickets have been sold out the day they went on sale? This will be one of the smallest arenas on the tour!

(a) you were lucky and (b) the system is a complete con. Those tickets were NOT offered in the regular AMEX presale on Wednesday or in the fan club presale on Thursday - and I know they weren't because I tried so many times to get offered anything other than section 7 and back of section 4 that I got eventually locked out of Ticketmaster. It seems people using a legacy membership got them and maybe those using the AMEX Gold card did as well. For the latter, it states that in the US the code is the 9-digit number on the back of the card and that anyone with a non-US AMEX card should call the number on the back of the card (and Gold card includes AMEX cards other than just the gold one) to get the necessary promotional code. So - does anyone at that number have any idea what you are talking about or that that this promotional code even exists?? NO, NO and NO they don't. i.e., yet another tale to add to the vast repertoire of Ticketmaster cock-ups.
