Has anyone ever used the American Express presale? Is it like the fan club where if you try for the cheap seats, you're on the field? I may try this since I let the crappy fan club membership expire. Any input would be appreciated.

I have never seen the cheap seats with AMEX presale. They seem to be pretty good if you pay the second highest price -- they tend to have decent floor and stand seats, but I don't know about stadiums.

They seem to have different tickets allocated for the Amex sale. I believe those $99 tickets in the first rows are only available through the fan club.

I have only gotten them once through regular sale, with those ticket drops at Twickenham (60 pounds), but I know of others who did. Unless you have a legacy code, it seems like a lottery ticket, really.
