Stones Day Out In London

As you have been informed there is a Stones convention at the Bonnington Hotel on the day that stands in between the two shows at Twickenham Stadium.21-08-06. It is a short walk from nearest underground st. If you have the time make a Stones day of it. You can do all this for just over £6 traverlcard. Take any bus, train or underground train. Then you could go to Covent Garden to visit England Rocks. Expensive, but with many interesting Stones items. Then finish the day off at Bill's restaurant Sticky Fingers. It's like a Stones museum. If you're like me and are going to both shows at Twicks, this will make a great 3 day event not to be forgotten.

If it's your first Stones convention don't miss it. Even if you're skint. It's great to meet other fans and just look around. Hope to see you there.

I stay in the Bonnington each time I'm in London. The last time (Ronnie's gig) there was a convention of the boys band from Liverpool :-)
This time I booked a hotel near Wembley. Damn

Harm, from Wembley to central London is no problem. Or to Twicks. See ya around. It would be interesting to meet up with any IORR fans in London during the shows for a pint.

'setlist whiner' t-shirts seem to be fashionable and highly desirable..

My ugly mug is in the Berlin thread already..however, no doubt there'll be a thread nearer the time where we can discuss all this. Theres usually enough people at these things from the various boards who know each other to the degree where if you ask someone who a person is, someone will generally point to someone and say "its that ugly basterd over there!

Setlist Whiner, very funny. I,ve never knowingly met anyone from here. But at the 2003 Stones convention it was brilliant talking to other fans and collectors. It's much more fun face to face. And you pick much more info.

The last time I was on the Thames me and my friends got too drunk. The boat made a detour to Greenwich. Where several policemen were waiting for us. Your nicked mate.

The problem I since discovered of hell raising on the Thames is that unless your a strong swimmer or stupid, you can't escape being arrested.

Not to mention all the other punters being really pissed off at you and your mates causing the captain to make a detour for your forthcoming arrest.
