why no harmonica on the live versions? today it is too slow and bluesly. I liked the 95-98 verions but now it is not what it should be. comments?

The ONLY verison of this song that should be heard is the LIVE one from
Wembley 1973!!!!!!!!!

Like they used to say on Napster: BEST VERSION EVER!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmm.........1969 was a tour de force.......

Yeah, it's just too slow thes days.....it worked on record but it's hard to recreate that atmosphere live .......... they sometimes hit the nail .... but rarely.

I just listened to a 1975 live version - really poor compared to 1973. So sad. Nothing has ever come up to that standard again.

Incorrect (IMO). Although I do bow down to the '73 version as definitive, Keith's solo take from the 2nd Wino's tour is staggering. It may be the best thing he ever did as a solo act.
