Just checked the programme for MSG this september. There's a lot going on , but it's free between Sept 14th and 22nd and between 26th and 30th. When do you recon The Stones will play there? Anyone got any news about that, yet?

I just checked the online schedule and somebody/something called "Slap-Happy the Slippery Clown" has been slated in for most of those dates. These things are subject to change, though...

Clapton will be at MSG on September 28th.I think the Stones will play somewhere else in N.Y. this time.If it does happen to turn out to be MSG,I would say October 3rd or 4th but, that is just a guess.

as they'll have just finished a two month tour of Europe on September 3rd, I think its a bit optimistic to expect ANY American shows until at the very earliest late of September. Forget anout 14-22nd

I would assume they take 2-3 weeks off in September, then fly into America, touching ground on the tip of it, doing Nova Scotia Halifax which is basically as far as you get to Europe if you don't count Newfounland. Then large stadiums at uncovered places, then signing off with 3 MSG in December. Just a wild guess. They might play MSG anytime actually.

i'm guessing keith will want that time to unwind from his skull & brain surgery... and Charlies probably about exhausted from this whole tour...

I just think it's less likely you find these guys doing "cram tours" of 6 or 10 towns" here and there like they have in past tours...

well, Charlie got a rest before Europe 6 weeks longer than originally planned, so he should be OK!

Thanks guys! Just have to be patient, then. I've registered on the "early warning list" for events in the MSG, to be sure I get Stones tickets. I live in Norway, and queuing outside the box office is NOT an alternative. Christmas shopping i NY would be fantastic - one week, and a Stones show every second night. What a great start on Christmas 2006. If it's December - guys, we have to have the Christmas party of our lives and name it DECEMBER's CHILDREN...

December's Grandchildren , more like!

You'll get plenty of notice to get tickets for any shows...dont worry.

...sounds like he'd make an appropriate support act.

A duet with Jagger perhaps?
